Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President within implementing the directives of the state and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Sector of University Hospitals and working on implementing the plan of the state to transform Aswan University into a Smart University. The committee that’s responsible for the digital transformation visited Aswan University Hospital to ensure the capacities of University Hospital in its various departments and work on transforming it into a Smart University in the attendance of Dr. Mohammad Zaki Al-Dahshouri- Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Ashraf Maabad- Executive Director of University Hospitals.
Dr. Mohammad Zaki Al-Dahshouri- Dean of the Faculty of Medicine added that the University Hospital has a good infrastructure and this would be the core of linking Aswan University Hospital with University Hospitals and entering it into the Electronic Health System that would be applied at the beginning of the next year 2021, this smart and digital transformation would provide a big chance for doctors to conduct scientific research by providing the information and archives of the patients electronically.
Dr. Ashraf Maabad- Executive Director of University Hospitals the committee inspected all the departments of the University Hospital as preparation for transforming it into a smart-university for serving the patients and working on ending the paper system and replacing it with the electronic system.
