Goals
Prepare graduates with a fundamental understanding of physiology and diagnostic abilities, while keeping the department’s curricula up to date. The department is also interested in using its human resources, research capabilities, and consulting knowledge to address physiological and environmental challenges in farm animals, as well as to support the production and service sectors. This is accomplished by offering recognized study programs based on scientific standards, performing scientific and practical research, and actively participating in the department’s environmental and community development initiatives.
Vision
The Physiology Department aims to teach physiology at Aswan University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, as well as to be one of the leading departments locally, regionally, and globally, capable of achieving competition, excellence, and continuous development in scientific research and community service.
Mission
The faculty of veterinary medicine at Aswan University works hard to keep up with advances in one of the college’s scientific departments that teach physiology. The department also offers a well-known and effective teaching and research service to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in one of the college’s scientific departments that teach physiology. It educates livestock, fish, and poultry physiology and funds scientific research and projects to improve domestic animal fertility and safeguard endangered wild species. It also encourages students to actively participate in the community and prepares veterinarians for good practice.
