Goals
Ensuring that graduates have a good understanding of biochemistry, are proficient in diagnostic skills, and that the department’s programs are current. The department also aims to make the best use of its human resources, research capabilities, and consulting experience to support the production industries, resolve biochemical difficulties with farm animals and environmental concerns, and provide services for all-around development, which are accomplished by providing outstanding study programs that meet scientific standards, conducting scientific and practical research, and encouraging effective collaboration with the department’s role in supporting environmental and community development.

Mission
Aswan University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine’s Department of Biochemistry seeks to stay current with advances in the discipline. The department also promotes scientific research and research initiatives to increase animal fertility, and it offers innovative and effective teaching and research services for undergraduate and graduate students in the field of biochemistry in livestock, fish, and poultry. In addition to preparing an effective veterinarian who is highly prepared, it also encourages students to participate effectively in the community.
