Faculty of Dentistry has launched the Initiative of ”Your health starts from your Mouth” under the auspices of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President, that its events launched from the campus in Sahari and ended in the Faculty of Engineering in Abo Al Reesh and lasts for three days.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President stated that Aswan University adopted several of the sporting and healthy initiatives including the sporting initiative ”Sport is National Security”, the Initiative of ‘Your health starts from your Mouth” is considered the first event of the Faculty of Dentistry that spends three days beginning from the campus in Sahari then the campus in New Aswan City until ended its works at the Faculty of Engineering in Abo Al Reesh.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab added the initiative aims students, academic staff and their assistants, and the university’s employees in terms of how to be aware of oral care, protecting from oral diseases, decay, and gum treatment, and informing students with various branches of the Faculty of Dentistry and this came through signing medical check-up for some students and responding the questions and inquires of students from experts in various dental departments of the Faculty of Dentistry in order to correct the misunderstanding that is spread among patients of the Dental Medicine.
Dr.Wael Mohamed Mubark-Acting Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at Aswan University indicated that the initiative includes 12 specialties in the Dental Medicin, the health and public instructions paper has been distributed for attendees, and brushes, and toothpaste for the participants at the initiative of ”Your Health starts from your Mouth”.
