In the framework of implementing the plan of Aswan University headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed- University President ,to confront Corona virus especially in applying e-learning system and work on upload the academic courses and the daily follow-up for the various faculties to end from uploading the educational courses on the electronic platform in the university. Faculty of Medicine held meeting in attendance of Prof.Mohamed Zaki El-Dahshoury-Dean of Faculty of Human Medicine and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Hospitals ,Dr.Mostafa Adam Al-Tiri-Vice dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr.Abullah Mahmoud Al-Ubaidi- the Executive Manager of the University Hospitals and Dr. Essam Abo Al-Majd Al-Sharif-Head of the Central Administration for the Remedial Affairs , the meeting discussed the progress of the educational process within the framework of the instructions of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-University President.
Dr.Al-Dahshoury –Dean of the Faculty of Medicine said the number of the franchise students ,the final batch and the resident doctors has been restricted to prepare and train them completely training on the ways of confronting the infection and dealing with the care cases , as well as to follow up the processes of disinfection and sterilization that have been done in the university hospital.
El-Dahshoury emphasized on the distance education is going well and the academic courses have been uploaded on the site of the university and the academic staff connect directly with students , the resident doctors ,the franchise doctors and students of the final batch in the Faculty of Medicine will be trained on dealing with the sharp respiratory cases ,the intensive care cases and the respirators.
