All places of the infected case were sterilized and all those who contacted the infected case from the medical staff were restricted from conducting the necessary checks for them and isolated them until the appearance of their results of analyzes. Ghallab added the university hospital, yesterday, received an elderly woman called ‘S.M’’ resident in Aswan and suffered from diabetes coma and pneumonia, and she was booked in the hospital and after taking samples from her appeared its positivism of the case and infected her with the emerging Coronavirus, and she was transferred to the isolation hospital in new Al-Sadaka and then she died, so the protection and precautionary measures were taken and the works of disinfection and sterilization for the place.
The medical team who contacted with the infected case have been isolated to sterilized places until ending the period of incubation and the appearance of their medical analyzes, the department of receiving and intensive care have been temporarily closed for 24 hours until ending from these precautionary measures, with transferring any new cases to Health Insurance Hospital, in coordination with the Major General/ Ashraf Attia –Governorate of Aswan, and Dr.Ehab Hanafy –Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Aswan.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab declared all precautionary measures have been taken for the conducts with the infected case and transferred them to special sterilized places until the end from their incubation period and the appearance of their medical analyzes as interesting with their safety and work on preventing transferring the pandemic to others and this is among the preventive and precautionary measures that have been done by the administration of the university and the university hospital in Aswan.
Dr.Mohamed Zaki El- Dahshuory –Dean of Faculty of Medicine said the case ‘’S.M’’ she was 64 years old, died after infected with the emerging coronavirus after drawing blood in the University Hospital Aswan and the result of the sample has appeared from Aswan Fever Hospital and it was positive, and she was isolated in the Isolation Hospital in El-Sadaka until took her last breathes inside the isolation hospital.
