Within the framework of the efforts of the state to confront Coronavirus under the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in applying the system of the e-learning platforms. Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President said University Center for Career Development since Pro. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar- the Minister of the Higher Education and Scientific Research opened it on 16 January 2020 it is regarded distinctive mark in developing, preparing and training students in Upper Egypt for the competition in the labor market. While the University Center for Career Development at the campus of Aswan University became one of the fourteenth centers on the level of the Egyptian Universities that plays its role in qualifying and developing students for the labor market.
Ghallab added the center connected with students electronically and provided many of the training and marketing courses that includes the most important course on the skills of the employment for 5 days, which is interactive training by Zoom application and attended the training 14 students and witnessed the end of its events by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab –University President ( online) and discussed students on the training and asked about their opinions on the electronic services of the center and the extent of their positive reactions; computer training approved by Microsoft company over 14 days for two groups of the students who participated electronically and students will perform the exam by electronic application totally 40 students as a part of the precautionary measures that taken by the university to confront Coronavirus. In addition to the center implemented a training course electronically on the basics of the computer and preparing the networks approved by Cisco Company that includes 27 students over a month (online).
Ghallab pointed out the University Center for the Professional Development in Aswan University it was established among the projects of the professional development centers in the Egyptian Universities and this by supporting from American Agency for the International Development in cooperation with the American University in Cairo that supports the technical support and working on training the center’s employees in Aswan University in order to be qualified for presenting all training, workshops and the professional consolations for students and the services of the center after completing the project in 2022.
