On Wednesday the council of Aswan University was held No.92 headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President with the technique of the video conference for the first time through the net (online) with the deans of the faculties to discuss the rules of proceeding the exams of the second semester 2020. In the beginning, the University president congratulated the political leaders, Minister of the Higher Education and Scientific Research, deans of the faculties, academic staff and their assistants, and the university employees on the occasion of Ramadan month asked God security, safety, and prosperity for Egypt.
Dr.Ahmed Ghallab confirmed on applying the decision of the Supreme Council of Universities on the exams of the second semester according to the directives of the ministry about the students have been evaluated through the exams of the second semester through two samples, the first for the faculties of a high concentration of students (research project) the students in the transmission batch have been evaluated according to make a research on the part of the subject that has been studies before suspending study or what’s learned by the distance learning until 30\4\2020. The lecturer of the subject determined the number of subjects don’t less than three subjects and no more than five and this on his own account at the platform of the distance learning in the university, on provided that those subjects have been announced in date no later than on Thursday 7\5\2020 and the evaluation for per student. As a facility for students, it’s permissible for students writing the research by handwriting or photographed it and it’s uploaded on his own account at the platform of the e-learning from Sunday corresponding to 31\5\2020 until Saturday 20\6\2020 and it’s turned to pdf file supporting students electronically through the direct connection with E-learning Unit.
The council discussed forming the committee headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed –Aswan University President, Dr. Ayman Osman-Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, deans of some faculties and Dr.Mohamed Eid-the Executive Manager of the Information Center in the university to follow the mechanisms of the council to evaluate the works of the exams of the faculties’students in the university on the provided that the evaluation of students of the scientific faculties with the low student concentration through proceeding the exams electronically on the condition that providing the electronic foundation for the scientific faculties like the Humanity Medicine and Veterinary Medicine with the interesting of the second round exams in the studying courses and delay it to the next semester in order to achieve the equality between those and the rest of students in the cumulative degree.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-University President thanked Dr.Khaled Abdul Ghaffar –Minister of the High Study and Scientific Research on gifting Aswan University two sterilized cabs for the university hospital to avoid the infection Coronavirus and as interesting with the health of the patients and the university staff.
