Under the patronage of Aswan university president Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman and as a part of the fruitful cooperation between the university and Aswan governorate, led by Maj. Gen. Ashraf Atteya under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Farman, assistant professor in Egyptology department at the faculty of archeology and the governorate’s advisor, Dr. Radwan Abdel Radi, vice dean of community service and environmental development, and Dr. Ayman Salah Taha, restoration department’s acting chairman, faculty of archeology’s students as well as restoration department’s demonstrators raised the efficiency of the murals located in Aswan entrance, airport road which was implemented by the faculty of specific education’s students. They contain drawings inspired by nature and for exposing to the sun and dust it was a must to be maintained to appear properly to receive the visitors of the Capital of culture, economy, and African youth. The work team included a number of demonstrators of the faculty departments, namely Masoud Abdel Hamid Al-Makkawi, department of restoration, Hassan Shaaban Hassan, department of restoration, Ahmed Ezz El-Din Muhammad, Islamic archaeology department as well as the faculty students.
