Aswan University creates palms farm in airport road

In the framework the role of Aswan University  for serving the community , developing the environment and updating the search and educational process and connect it with the labor market ,the community and the surrounded environment. Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed –Aswan University President , the university prepared the farm plan in Sahari- the airport road -out the wall of the campus on an area 50 acres nearly , while it will be typical farm built on scientific and guided basics to play  its role in serving the community , developing the environment and serving the search and educational process , the farm has been planned in the form of  sectors contain types of luxurious palms in addition to grapes cubes planted with  greenhouses and different kinds of vegetables and field and horticultural crops  . This is coming in the framework the international instructions headed by the president Abdel Fattah Alsisi –President of the Republic in order to develop the south upper Egypt and interest with the agricultural sector in general and invest in the types of luxurious palms particularly and the project of planting 5 millions palms , Prof.Ahmed Ghallab –University president participated in plant a number of the luxurious Magdol palms , and this consistent with the plan of the university to form unique model in Aswan University and create guided farm plays its role in the serving the surrounded community , and at the present time it is preparing for planting others kinds of palms ; in attendance of Dr.Yasser Abdul Hamid –Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources ,Dr. Mohammed Abo Elliel –Vice dean for serving the community and developing the environment ,Dr.Noby Hafny and the staff of the project
