A Veterinary Medicine Convey

Under the supervision of Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President, and Dr. Mohamed Karmi Hussein-Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the faculty sent a medical convey to Bahery Manshia village in Kom Ombo with the participation of an elite of the academic staff of the faculty :

Prof. Eng. Ragab Hassan Mohamed, Department of Obstetrics and Reproduction, and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs

Dr. Bahaa El-Din El-Sayed Abdel Aziz, teacher of El-Maadia and Vice-Dean for Environmental Affairs and Community Service

Dr. Yahya Abbas Amin, teacher at the Department of Obstetrics and Reproduction

Dr. Al-Laithi Al-Laith Al-Laithi, a teacher of surgery

Dr.. Majdi Al-Jyoushi Mahmoud, a teacher of internal diseases

Dr. Safaa Youssef Nour, Professor of Internal Medicine

Vet.Fatima Syed Muhammad Teaching Assistant, Department of Pharmacology

Vet. Asma Muhammad Ahmad Abdel Basit, Teaching Assistant, Department of Surgery

Vet. Israa Al Kafi Anwar Teaching Assistant, Department of Internal Medicine

Vet. Doaa Abdel Rahman Suleiman, Teaching Assistant, Department of Maternity

With the participation of the Veterinary Medicine Directorate headed by Dr. Ahmed Saleh-Director General, and with participation of the Veterinarian Syndicate in Aswan headed by Dr. Soheir Kaawan and students of the fifth batches of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

The convoy examined various animals and performed many operations where the surgery department in the convoy performed surgeries such as:

Surgical treatment of:-

1- Upward fixation of the patella in a buffalo.

2- Eye enucleation in cow for treatment of squamous cell carcinoma.

3- Tail amputation in sheep (tail docking).

4- Equine sarcoid in donkeys.

5- Congenital anomalies in umbilical region in calf (case report)

6- Hyphema in addition cow.

7- Keratitis and corneal opacities in a donkey.

8- Laminitis in donkeys.

9- Old wounds.

10- Abscesses.

11- Hoof affections.

The Department of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases examined and diagnosed diseases of the digestive system in a number

And Respiratory diseases in a number

The Department of Obstetrics and Reproduction examined and performed the various operations as follows:

3- sheep:

A_ pregnancy diagnosis (2 cases)

B_  Endometritis  (2 cases)
