As part of the Faculty’s commitment to safeguarding livestock and ensuring comprehensive veterinary care, and under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Marwa Khalifa, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the supervision of Dr. Safaa Youssef, Director of the Educational Farm, in coordination with the Aswan Veterinary Medicine Directorate, an extensive veterinary campaign was conducted on Wednesday and Thursday, September 16–17, 2026.
The campaign included vaccinating all animals at the Faculty’s Educational Farm against Foot-and-Mouth Disease and Rift Valley Fever, as well as completing the identification and registration of all farm animals. These measures aim to ensure continuous, accurate, and preventive veterinary monitoring and to maintain the health and safety of the livestock.
