Prof.Khaled Abdel Ghaffer-Minister of higher education and scientific research conducted an open meeting yesterday, Wednesday , with seven heads of governmental universities which are(Alexandria – Ain Shams – Helwan – Marsa Matrouh – Mansoura – Banha – Aswan), and some of academic staff and a group of students ,and this by conference video in order to reassure on the progress of educational program according to the distance learning plan that was directed after issuing the decision of his excellency Abdel Fattah Al Sisi –President of the Republic , to suspend study in schools and universities for two weeks from the last Sunday 15th March as precautionary measure to prevent the outbreak of corona virus.
The minister praised the efforts that are exerted by the university during the meeting to arrive the message of the education through the available e-learning platforms in order to continue in the educational process . As well as the steps taken by universities to implement the plan for distance education, and to provide lectures and curricula for students through these electronic platforms and official sites of universities so that students can obtain knowledge
Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar assured the students and the academic community , the ministry will not TO prejudice the students ’academic future and there is no cause for concern regarding this in the framework of applying e-learning plan , for more details click on the following link.
