Today, Tuesday, Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President witnessed the celebration of University Career Center Development in Aswan University the certifications of first batch from students of Aswan University have been granted for those who benefit from the center under the auspices of Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President in the attendance of Dr. Magdy Mohamed Ali- Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Amal Abdel Wahed-Project Manager, as well as a number of deans of faculties of Aswan University and representatives from some companies and private sectors.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President in his speech confirmed that Aswan University was from the first universities that participated in University Projects Center in the Egyptian Universities that is implemented in cooperation with American University in Cairo and support from the American Agency for International Development; the center has been inaugurated by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of the American University and Director of the United States Agency for International Development, as well as in the presence of Major General/ Ashraf Attia-Governor of Aswan, and in the presence of an elite of heads of universities in Egypt.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab added the center work to rehabilitation students for the labor market through a group of practical trains and services of professional development as well as the center works on permanent connection for linking the university with the labor market. Prof .Ahmed Ghallab granted some certifications for some of the representatives of the sector those showed their cooperation through a several of activities that targets serve Aswan University students including the Chairman of the Administration of Al Salam Academy Group and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Makani Restaurant as well as Dr. Ahmed Ghallab honored some university students who are volunteers in the center for their efforts over an entire year for working inside the center.
It’s worth mentioning that the center was able to submit its services for the university students through 2020 in the light of the spreading of the emerging coronavirus in 2020 and transfer for working on-line and until now 3363 students benefited from the services of the center through this year. In the conclusion of the celebration students took a memorial photo with Prof. Ahmed Ghallab- Aswan University President and the attendees.
