Today, Sunday, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President participated at the sports festival that has been organized by the Faculty of Physical Education in cooperation with the Central Administration of Youth Welfare at the university stadium under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the supervision of Dr. Subhi Muhammad – Hassanein, Vice President of the Sports Federation of Universities and Dr. Hisham Al-Jyoushi- Secretary of the Federation.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President confirmed this festival is considered within the framework of the presidential initiative of President/ Abdul Fattal Al Sisi-President of the Republic under the slogan ”Sport is National Security” and the keenness of state on sports and fitness training for the university students and works to activate students activities through the plan of state and the Supreme Council of Universities.
Dr. Ahmed Ghallab added the events of the festival have been launched under the slogan” Sport is a Lifestyle”and participated at the festival, Dr. Ayman Othman-Vice University President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, and a number of the academic staff of the Faculty of Physical Education and their assistants, and students.
