Today, Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President witnessed the events of launching run and bicycles marathon, and kayak that has been organized by Administrative Control Authority coincides with the ”International Day for Anti-Corruption” in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Ghallab-President of the University, Major General Ehab Al-Bandari- Head of the Administrative Control Authority Branch in Aswan, and Colonel Haitham Salam, Vice President of the Administrative Control Authority in Aswan, and Colonel/Haitham Salam- Vice President of the Administrative Control Authority in Aswan. Dr. Ayman Othman- Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Dr. Magdi Mohammad Ali, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Ayman Abdel Ghaffar-Vice of Faculty of Law and Coordinator of Anti-Corruption and Coordinator of Subtitle Committee for fighting corruption at Aswan University, number of deans of faculties of Aswan Universities, Youth & Sport Directorate, Directorate of Education, an elite of the public and executive leaders at Aswan.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President indicated that the marathon has been held under the title of ” We are United Anti-Corruption” as a continuation for the presidential initiative in practicing sports activities and activating them on the reality, as well as he confirmed that the marathon is considered as a massage for all the countries of the world, and Aswan Governorate witnessed a purification of corruption with its different items and forms, and works on spreading the culture of fighting corruption inside the institutions. The university is continued in cooperation with all institutions of the state, presents all the educational and awareness services for serving and raising the position of the state under the leadership of President/Abdul Fattah Al Sisi- President of the Republic.
Prof. Ahmed Gallab indicated that on the margins of the celebration of the International Day of Anti-Corruption on 9th December 2020 , within the framework of the state’s interest with fighting corruption within the light of patriotic and strategic vision for fighting the corruption and pleasures us a full cooperation with the Administrative Control Authority in enhancing and spreading integrity and transparency as a guarantee for the improving of the performance of the public job, and keeping the public money through the strategic patriotic plan of the authority for eliminating the corruption and fighting it.
Major General Ehab Al-Bandari- Head of the Administrative Control Authority Branch in Aswan explained through the seminar at the campus of Aswan University that the phenomenon of corruption is considered the most serious negative phenomenon that are spread in countries, and the most devastating for the security and safety of the community as it’s infected the vital and impacted joints in the state; the bribe-patronage-the spreading of unemployment- and the drags are considered the headline of this negative phenomenon, as well as he emphasized the importance of the social participation that lies on the shoulder of all for confronting the corruption as it has negative effects on the development, indicated for the importance of raising the awareness with the dangers of corruption for confronting it.
Director of Administrative Control Authority presented identified presentation about the authority and its targets, the ways of connecting with officials at the authority, explaining the impact of the corruption on the individual and community, institutions, and the role of the authority in preventing and confronting the corruption, indicating the importance of enhancing the transparency to facilitate the accounting and accountability, where the corruption affects on the social justice, and the legal, social and economic position of the citizens.
Within the seminar, a documentary movie about fighting corruption has been presented, as well as the door of conversation has been opened with attenders to ask any inquiries or suggestions can be beneficial for fighting the corruption, the conclusion has been ended with presenting the university shield for the Director of Administrative Control Authority Branch, the attenders took a memorable photos with the vices of Aswan University President Dr. Ayman Othman, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Magdi Muhammad Ali, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Faculties’ Deans, Assistant Secretaries, Directors of Departments and University Staff.
