Prof. Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President confirmed the near of ending from universities projects the medical and health ones of the universities hospitals where the university hospital witnessed the developing in the various departments that receive all the patients of Aswan Governorate and the patients of the Southern Upper Egypt for receiving the curative services for requalifying and raising the efficiency of cadres and the medical services, and working on attracting advisors in the different specializations and enhancing the university hospital with the latest medical devices for serving the patients.
Prof. Ahmed Ghallab added Aswan University Hospital witnessed establishing a several of new buildings such as the hospital of internal medicine and children with the capacity of 150 beds include Dialysis Unit that has been ended with 85% from the value of works that gives a big breakthrough by entering it in the service soon thus, the medical and health system of the university hospitals are being developed. As well as work is in full swing in the building of the emergency hospital that include 4 operation rooms, 22 beds for surgical operations for accidents and emergency, intensive care, sterilization unit, restaurant, x-ray unit, and x-ray laboratories with the latest level.
Dr.Mohamed Zaki Al Dahshory-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine it’s ongoing to qualify and raise the efficiency of the departments of Aswan University Hospitals such as the departments of bones, urinary tract, internal medicine, and receiving, and a comprehensive development would be for gas net, alert net, mechanical and normal works from finishes with the completing of the preparations of the central restaurant that include 2 food halls and central laundry.
