As part of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Aswan University’s commitment to providing students with practical and field-based training, internship students participated in a training program organized in cooperation with the Aswan Veterinary Medicine Directorate. The training included participation in a comprehensive veterinary outreach convoy in Hajar Al-Balayis Village, Edfu District.
The field training provided students with valuable hands-on experience and enabled them to apply a range of veterinary skills in a real-world setting. Activities included clinical examinations, parasite control through spraying and oral administration of antiparasitic medications, pregnancy diagnosis using palpation and ultrasonography, as well as administering the necessary treatments and vaccinations. The students also provided livestock owners with veterinary advice and guidance on proper animal healthcare practices.
At the conclusion of the field activity, the Faculty expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Aswan Veterinary Medicine Directorate, as well as to all participating veterinarians and supervisors, for their continued support and fruitful cooperation in developing the students’ practical skills and preparing them for the labor market.
