Today, Monday, Aswan University Council No. (120) was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, in the company of the deans of the faculties and the advisors of the university president. The work of the council was opened by Othman by welcoming the attendance of the council’s members
Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of Aswan University, confirmed that the university council discussed many important issues in various sectors of the university, including the final arrangements for the university’s celebration on the occasion of the 10 anniversary of the Science Day, coinciding with the celebration of the political leadership and the Egyptian people on the anniversary of the glorious June 30 revolution. In light of this great occasion, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman, President of the University and its distinguished council congratulated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, Cabinet State, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and all university employees and the Egyptian people, wishing continued security, safety, progress and stability for our beloved Egypt in various development fields.
”Othman” added that the university has completed the second-semester exams for the academic year 2022/2021 in most faculties according to the schedule set for them by the Supreme Council of Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which was attended by 30,000 students in 20 faculties and institutes.
The council discussed the approval of the cooperation protocol between the Faculty of Commerce and the Egyptian Stock Exchange, and the approval of the establishment of an economic advisory center at the Faculty of Commerce, to serve the investment and economic projects in the neighboring governorates. The council also discussed the approval of the university restructuring project prepared by the Faculty of Commerce and the start of addressing the Central Agency For Organization &Administration.
Aswan University Council also approved the appointment of a number of academic staff and their assistants in the positions of lecturer and assistant professor and the granting of academic degrees.
