General Major/ Ashraf Attia-Governorate of Aswan, on the evening Wednesday, inaugurated ”Aswan 2nd Book Fair” which is organized by the Ministry of Culture represented by Aswan Culture Branch in cooperation with the General Book Authority and Aswan University; in attendance of Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Aswan University President, President of the General Book Authority and President of the Region South of the cultural level, Dr. Majdy Mohamed Ali– Former Vice University President for Community Service and Environmental Development and the General Coordinator of the University, Dr. Farid Abdul Zaher– Former Dean of the Faculty of Dar Al-Uloom.
Dr. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Aswan University President confirmed the importance of this cooperation for holding the events of the 2nd book fair which is held at Fawzy Fawzy Summer Theatre in Aswan City, during the period from 3 to 12 the current November.
This includes several kinds of literature and books in various fields and diverse cultural disciplines which were offered at nominal prices to suit students and for raising the awareness of knowledge and culture of the public through the acquisition of books and reading; also, the fair will witness many cultural, artistic, poetic, and religious chanting events.
