Dr. Khaled Abdul Ghaffar-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research received a report from Dr. Ashraf Al-Azzazi-Head of the Cultural & Mission Affairs Sector- about opening the admission door for Chevening Scholarship presented from the UK for the academic year 2022/2023 that’s entirely funded by Foreign Affairs Office, The Commonwealth, and Development; forgetting the master degree for a year from one of the leading universities in the UK; and it’s granted to the distinguished leaders or juniors in all studying fields.
The report indicated that these scholarships come on the top of the universities’ scholarships menu that students wait from all over the world, where students apply to scholarships through this electronic site.
The report pointed out that the final date to receive applications is next November 2, for more information and seeing to all instructions and the conditions of applying to scholarships, and knowing the extent of satisfying the choosing standards about the program through the electronic site.
The report pointed out that the scholarship allows choosing 3 postgraduate studies programs in 3 various universities in the universities of the Uk on the condition that getting unconditioned approval from one of these universities.
The report explained that the scholarship is entirely funded by the Foreign Affairs Office, The Commonwealth, and the Development for the studying at the level of postgraduate studies including the studying fees, a monthly stipend to cover living expenses, health insurance, as well as housing and airfare (round -trip).
It’s worthy to mention that the Public Administration of Missions in the ministry doesn’t bear any costs for these scholarships.
