Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President said starting from the plan of the state and its strategy for the sustainable development (Egypt2030) that depends on the current vision and which is based In the economic development on supporting creativity and invention and encouraging creators from innovators and inventors, and working on encouraging small, medium and tiny projects; hence the interest of Aswan University to get fund from the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology to establish and localize Technology Information Commercial Offices(TICO Aswan) to submit real services and more effective for the link of Aswan University, Scientific research in industry, and needs of the community. In his last meeting, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab directed Dr.Abo Al Hussein Al Shazily Ahmed-Head of TICO Teamwork to increase the registrations of the patents’requests for the researchers inside the faculty and innovators from the outside.
Aswan University President pointed out the management of the university gives the hardest priority and full and comprehensive care for this type of project and office that contributes to solving the problems of the society and working on linking them with the industry which benefits our beloved country. Dr.Ahmed Ghallab emphasized on the teamwork of the project to do more effort for carrying out the applied aims from complex offices, making protocols with the neighboring factories in the governorate, and searching for the ways of the joint cooperation as well as the industrial and technological challenges of the factories and companies to offer them on the Council of the Postgraduate Studies as paving for inserting them the research plan of the university.
For his part, Dr.Ayman Osman-Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research wishes good luck for the teamwork of the project in the next stage, while he said Aswan TICO gain time by registration 36 patent applications, and it was able to form 20 prototypes of valuable innovations, also contributed to establishing 4 emerging companies, Awan TICO and its innovators obtained many prizes in the local and international innovation faires, the teamwork attended more than 60 training and workshops, and visited 7 factories and industrial companies in the governorate, also International Cooperation Office in Aswan TICO contributed to registration Aswan University for the programs of the European Union Projects and activating the identification code of Aswan University, as well as both participation of Aswan University first in African Union Universities whose headquarter Accra in Ghana State, second in(PIC number) the global link of the universities and its headquarter in France through the previous three years.
Aswan University President Prof.Ahmed Ghallab directed the researchers inside the university, all innovators, inventors, and creators of the governorate to connect with the teamwork of Aswan TICO and submit the suggestions and ideas that need financial or technical or academic supporting by logging in the website of Aswan TICO and participate in the innovation challenge 2030 for training whether in the field of free working or entrepreneurship or starting in establishing emerging companies for youth, or building prototype for the innovation as paving for participating by it in the local and international contests and marketing it or helping in registration the patent and the researcher would cost-saving nearly 17,000 that is paid by the budget of the project.
