According to the statement of Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman<\/span><\/strong> – Acting President of Aswan University – that the exams for the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021 started today, Saturday, at the Institute of African Research and Studies and Nile Basin Countries at Aswan University.<\/span><\/p>\n

And in the interest of the safety of students, those in charge of the educational system at the institute, and university workers, the exams came amid strict precautionary measures to confront the new Coronavirus, Covid 19.<\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman added that all necessary preparations were taken and precautionary measures were applied to confront the new Coronavirus, and this comes within the framework of implementing the instructions of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, Dr. El-Sayed Owais Omran, Dean of the Institute of African Research and Studies and the Nile Basin Countries, toured the committees to check on the work of the second-semester examinations for the academic year 2020-2021 at the Institute in a calm and comfortable atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency indicated that the examinations will continue until 9\/23\/2021 and will be attended by more than 570 students, including 281 (diploma), 243 (Master) students, and 47 (Ph.D.) students in various scientific disciplines of the departments of natural resources, African languages \u200b\u200b, anthropology, politics, economics, history, and geography.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency explained that the study in the various departments of the institute is based on the hybrid education system, which was approved by the Supreme Council of Universities, which is a system that combines attending lectures, face-to-face inside studying halls with the academic staff and the process of electronic receiving, through the digital platform of Aswan University to interact with the administrators.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency added that teaching on this platform is based on the use of some modern programs that contribute to providing students with e-learning and distance education skills, pointing out that the Institute is implementing all proposals and plans aimed at developing the educational process and advancing the research and academic field, community service and the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then the Dean of the Institute thanked the Undersecretary of the Institute for Graduate Studies, the Graduate Studies Department, the controllers, the academic staff, and their assistants, as well as the staff and workers, for providing educational, technical, and administrative support and providing all lectures, data, and information to students, which contributed to supporting those exams.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, Aswan University spares no effort in assisting researchers and giving them the highest priority to achieve the highest level of scientific and research progress as well as technology, providing all facilities and using the expertise of professors specialized in each field.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency directed the speedy completion of the control work, and the appearance of the result as soon as possible, especially since most of the exams are in the electronic system for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
