In a unique achievement that is the first of its kind, Aswan University achieves the best ranking of the Egyptian Universities ever seen in the\u00a0British Times Classifications<\/strong>\u00a0for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals\u00a0( The Impact Rankings 2021)<\/strong>. Aswan University came in the 95th ranking among the best (100) universities worldwide and the best Egyptian University, with a difference of more than 100 places from the second-best Egyptian Universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier in the day, the British Times Classification for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals ( The Impact Rankings 2021) was announced, and Aswan University ranked as the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

1-The 95th position worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n

2-The 1st position on the level of the Egyptian Universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

3-The 8th position in terms of the\u00a0Zero Hunger<\/strong>\u00a0index (SDG2).<\/span><\/p>\n

4-The position (201-300) in terms of\u00a0Good Health and Well-Being<\/strong>\u00a0index (SDG3).<\/span><\/p>\n

5-The position (101-200) in terms of\u00a0Quality Education<\/strong>\u00a0index(SDG4).<\/span><\/p>\n

6-The position (201-300)\u00a0Gender Equality\u00a0<\/strong>( SDG5).<\/span><\/p>\n

7-The position (101-200)in terms of\u00a0Reduced Inequalities<\/strong>\u00a0(SDG10).<\/span><\/p>\n

8-The position (31) in terms of the\u00a0Local Sustainable Cities and Communities<\/strong>\u00a0index (SDG11).<\/span><\/p>\n

9-The position (101-200) in terms of the\u00a0Climate Action<\/strong>\u00a0index (SDG13).<\/span><\/p>\n

10-The position (33) in terms of\u00a0Partnerships for the Goals<\/strong>\u00a0index (SDG17).<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Mohammed Abdul Aziz Muhalal Orabi<\/strong><\/span>-Director of the International Classification Office congratulated all\u00a0 Aswan University affiliates and stated that this unique achievement is the result of intertwining the efforts of everyone in the university, and the continuous support from the university\u2019s higher administration for raising and progressing of our ancient university.<\/span><\/p>\n
