On Monday corresponding to 18\/5\/2020, Major General \/Ashraf Attia<\/span>-Aswan Governor and Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed<\/span> \u2013Aswan University President lay the foundational stone for establishing the emergency and reception hospital in Aswan University Hospital on an area of 1400 square meters. From his side, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab stressed on what the university hospitals witnesses on updating to raise the carrying capacity to service the patients of Aswan Government and Governorates of Upper Egypt in the light of the interesting of the state with the health of the citizen and working on presenting a distinctive medical service through the university hospitals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof.Ahmed Ghallab said the building of the reception and emergency hospital has consisted of a basement, ground floor, and 4 repeated floors with a total area of 8400 square meters and this is for supporting the bed capacity for the current Aswan University Hospital whose carrying capacity achieved nearly to 450 beds and with ending from the building of the Reception and Emergency Hospital it will be new additions for the medical system in Aswan University Hospitals which includes 150 beds in addition to the new interior hospital with the capacity of 300 beds that will be done and inaugurated through months and this is giving a big chance to accommodate a several of patients in different departments and working on decreasing the burden on the shoulders of Aswan patients.<\/span><\/p>\n

General Major\/ Ashraf Attia-Aswan Governor explained there is an interesting with the medical system from the political leadership in the light of confronting Coronavirus and they work on updating the health system in Aswan; the governor praised the development that Aswan University Hospitals witness it that will implement the needs and ambitions of the patients in the near future.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr.Mohamed Zakria Abdul Hamied-the Engineering Consular of Aswan University pointed out the building of the reception and emergency hospital has consisted of several departments in the departments of trauma, intensive care, radiology, and laboratories, sterilizing unit and washbasin in addition to garage and center restaurant; as well as connecting between Aswan University Hospital and new Reception and Emergency Hospital will be by communicated bridges to facilitate transforming the infected cases, emergency cases and accidents and facilitate moving patients and doctors.<\/span><\/p>\n
