Yesterday, on Monday, Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman – Acting of Aswan University President checked the 2nd-semester exams for the academic year 2020\/2021at the Institute of Research and African Studies and Nile Basin Countries in Aswan University, His Excellency stressed the precautionary measures in light of confronting the emerging coronavirus, covid-19 interesting in the safety of students and the responsible of the educational system in the institute and the workers in the university; this comes in the light of the instructions of Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/span><\/p>\n

This comes through the visiting tour inside the examination committees to ensure the workflow of the2nd semester exams for the academic year 2020\/2021 at the institute in a calm and comfortable atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n

He explained the exam works will continue until 23\/9\/2021 and more than 570 students including 281(diploma students), 243 (master students), 47 ( doctoral students) in the various scientific disciplines for the departments of the natural resources, African languages, anthropology, policy, economy, history, and geography.<\/span><\/p>\n

From his part, Dr.Al-Sayed Owais Imran-Dean of the Institute of Research and African Studies and Nile Basin Countries stated that the study was at the various departments of the institute on the hybrid system that was issued by the Higher Council of Universities, it’s a system combined between attending lectures inside studying halls face to face with the lecturers, and the process of the electronic receiving through the digital platform of Aswan University to interact with lecturers.<\/span><\/p>\n

His Excellency completes that studying on this platform and this through using some modern programs that contribute to granting students skills of electronic learning and distance learning, pointing out the institute works to carry out all suggestions and plans that aim to develop the educational process and raise of research and academic field and serving the community and environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the dean of the institute confirmed that Aswan University restores no efforts in helping researchers and gives them the most priority to implement the highest level of scientific and research advancement and technology and provides all facilities and uses the expertise of specialized professors in each field.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dean of the faculty has directed the speedy complementation of control works and appearance of the result as soon as possible especially most of the exams are the electronic systems for the first time.<\/span><\/p>\n
