Prof. Ahmed Ghallab<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 President of Aswan University, today, Tuesday, received the first doses of the new Corona virus vaccine for medical staffs inside Aswan University Hospital, which began vaccination works for the university president and medical teams according to the priority of registration<\/span><\/p>\n

The vaccine was also received by Dr. Muhammad Zaki Al-Dahshouri-Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Ashraf Ma`bad- Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, and Dr. Essam Abu Al-Majd- Director General of the University Hospital, in the presence of Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, the vaccine official<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ahmed Ghallab stressed that protecting medical staffs is one of the priorities of the Egyptian state, which is keen to provide full care to the White Army.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Ahmed Ghallab stated that the\u00a0Chinese Sinopharma<\/strong>\u00a0vaccine was registered in Egypt by the Egyptian Medicines Authority, and that the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine has proven effective in clinical trials of up to 89% and in the production of antibodies, 99% protection from infection and 100% protection from the emergence of violent and critical symptoms .<\/span><\/p>\n

The university president, Ahmed Ghallab, added that the university hospital serves the children and patients of Aswan and the patients of the neighboring governorates in southern Upper Egypt.<\/span><\/div>\n

Dr. Ashraf Ma\u2019bad \u2013 Executive Director of Aswan University Hospitals, indicated that today the cooperation carried out between Faisal Islamic Bank-Aswan branch in the attendance of Mr. Ashraf Mohamed Hussein-Director of the Bank, regarding the ability of providing modern medical devices in the university hospital, and working to provide medical assistants by conducting x-rays, analyses, and treatment for those who are unable and special needs people, and this by coordination with the administration of the university hospital; as well as he stressed on the administration of the bank work to enhance its social role by providing a financial support for unable cases, and providing antiseptics, and sterilization and spraying tools within the light of confronting the emerging corona virus.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
