On Monday, the Council of Aswan University is held its session No.( 95) headed by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed-Aswan University President by the conference video in attendance of Vice-President for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Vice-Deans.
Dr.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President opened the council with welcome the attendance and congratulated his Excellency the President/Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi-President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, and Dr.Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar-Minister of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research in the occasion of the great June Revolution that returned Egypt’s prestige and founded the corners of the modern state in the various fields under the leadership of his Excellency President/Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi.
Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohammed -Aswan University President announced through the council the preparations of the university for the second semester for the final batches considering from the next July corresponding to 11\7\2020 that will be performed by 7 thousand students in the final batches in the various faculties of the university, as well as all the precautionary measures as spreading and sterilizing the studying halls and laboratories have been taken with putting the detailed schedules for each faculty with taking into consideration the spacing among students will be 2 meters at least in the committees and wearing masks for students, supervisors and everyone enters the committee, with providing the sterilizing, cleaning and purification tools permanently, and allocated two days for students of each faculty with decreasing the numbers of the halls that include 200 students to 50 students that means the quarter for banning the overstock or hustle as interesting for the safety of the students in the light of facing the emerging coronavirus, from the precautionary measures using a device of measuring the temperature and sterilizing when entering the committees.
Dr.Ahmed Ghallab added the electronic correction has been applied as providing for the factor of time and effort and announcing the results in the specified time, the questions models are applied to the quality standards through the question bank that is available the electronic platform and research is being uploaded and received for the students of the transforming batches at the 20 various faculties of the university on the electronic platform which their number achieve to 18 thousand students from the 1st batch to 3rd one.
Aswan University President pointed out all the preparations have been taken before the beginning of the exams of the second semester as preparing the committees, halls, medical conveys, and working on providing the ambulances with the daily following up the headquarters of the committees, as well as the design of spacing faculties’students has been put.
Dr.Ahmed Ghallab praised the Information Center for its efforts in the last period, also explained the Information Center achieved clearing success through the electronic platform by uploading the courses, connecting with students electronically, and applying the system of the e-learning.
The council approved granting scientific degrees, employment, and promotion for a number of the academic staff and the teaching assistants.
